My goal for final year is to obtain my Bachelor diploma as well as to prepare myself for Master studies and my professional career. Therefore, I try to connect all my choices to further education programs and desired career goals.

Chosen In-depth subjects:

During my In-depth project I want to put my focus on:

• JavaScript (separate cluster for jQuery)
• PHP (5)

Besides mentioned subjects, I would like to improve:

• Troubleshooting for IE 8+ ( HTML, CSS)
• Agile/SCRUM development process
• Creating mockups
• Proper naming conventions for my designs
• Dutch language in writing (grammar)

“Open source software in today’s world” (title might be slightly modified):

• Rapid development of open source software
• Increasing popularity
• Cons and pros (quality, reliability)
• Brief comparison with proprietary software (performance, availability)
• Specific examples of most popular (and not that popular but still brilliant) open source software (Linux, Mozilla, Vim)
• Specific issues (privacy, NSA, censorship, copyright)
